Luzianne® Celebrates National Iced Tea Day in Charlotte
WHAT: To celebrate National Iced Tea Day (Sunday, June 10), Luzianne will create a “porch pop up” station to give away free iced tea in Disc Plaza on Monday, June 11. Sweetened and unsweetened iced tea will be available. Those walking by can take a break in rocking chairs that will be on hand or simply pass by to grab a sample of the refreshing southern staple. Drop off your business card for a chance to win prizes from Luzianne.
Pop up visitors are also encouraged to bring non-perishable items for a food drive supporting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Donors will be entered to win a year’s supply of Luzianne Tea for each non-perishable item donated.*
WHEN: Monday, June 11, 2018
10AM – 2:30PM
WHERE: Disc Plaza (at corner of Trade & Tryon streets)
101 N. Tryon Street
Charlotte, NC 28202
WHY: Iced tea is loved by those in the Carolinas. 670,369,018 servings of iced tea were sold last year in North Carolina alone. Next to water, tea is the most consumed beverage in the world. Luzianne is an iconic southern brand, the No. 2 seller of home-brewed iced tea bags in the United States.
HOW: Interviews with Luzianne representatives can be arranged on site. If you plan to send a reporter or camera to this event, please contact Rachel Strassel at 504-579-2487 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
